A Level Congratulations

Students and staff at Tapton School Academy Trust are celebrating their A Level success today.

Forge Valley Secondary School and Tapton Secondary School have secured strong results, and students will now be moving onto fantastic destinations as they continue to realise their life chances and dreams.

Highlights from each school include:

Forge Valley Secondary School

Students have achieved excellent outcomes across all qualifications:

  • 99.6% pass rate at A Level
  • 36% of all grades at A*A or Distinction.

All students studying BTEC ICT or Health & Social Care achieved a Distinction* or Distinction - the equivalent of an A* or A grade at A Level.

Dale Barrowclough, Headteacher, said: "We are delighted with another fabulous set of results at Forge Valley and congratulate all our students, who we wish all the best for the future.

"We would also like to thank all the staff for their hard work in ensuring our students success, and all our parents who have supported both their child and the school."

Tapton Secondary School

It has been another outstanding year at Tapton:

  • 66% of grades at A*B
  • 35% of grades at A*A.

"Our students have excelled in over 25 different subjects, and now move onto varied destinations such as medicine, business & languages, music and fashion & interior design.
