TSAT staff help to deliver essential food parcels to children across the city
895 hampers were delivered over 2 days in the Easter Holiday, to children on free school meals.
Staff from across our schools volunteered to coordinate the delivery. Chaucer School arranged the lorry to pick up the parcels from Sheffield City Council, and Forge Valley School was one of a number of distribution centres. Hampers were packed, loaded and delivered in school mini buses.
Thank you to our incredible staff
Our staff continue to deliver important services throughout this period, including childcare to children of key workers and those most vulnerable, as well as volunteering to make and supply equipment for the NHS, and serve our communities as above.
Thank you to our community
To date, you have helped TSAT to raise over £6,000 in our campaign for 'Schools Making NHS Face Shields'. This money is being used to help our front line workers when they need it the most.
